Why I Wrote Unforgettable

My father passed away when I was 2 years
old and, although I would ask my mother how
she and my father met, I did not get a
sufficient answer. I wanted the juicy details
but I think it would have been too emotional
for her to describe them to me. I knew they
were meant to be though since they were
born on the same day of the same year,
Valentine's Day!

Couples meeting and knowing they are
meant to be was a mystery for me. I wanted
to know how couples met and fell in love, as
does every woman. After my mother passed
away in 2005, I started collecting stories from
family, friends, and then contacts that I made
in my travels. I felt that my parents were with
me to help as I flew to various parts of the
U.S. and drove for hours in search of juicy
love stories, looking for people who would be
forthright in their feelings for each other
about how they met.
My Bio
I was born, raised and educated in the
Northeast. I then went to the West
Coast for a number of years to follow
the sun. I wore many hats in my
working career, having held positions
in the teaching and business worlds.

Never knowing how my parents met, I
followed my life-long desire to write a
book on the variety of ways in which
couples find the love of their lives. To
write
Unforgettable: Vignettes of Love,
I traveled  across the United States,
finding juicy romance stories that
couples were willing to share. With this
book, I was able to display my talent
for storytelling to the delight of the
reader.

I currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
